Justin & Krista Welford
Lead Pastors
Justin Welford and his wife, Krista planted the church in their home in 2019. Prior to that, Justin served as a staff pastor at Refuge Assembly of God in Panama City, Florida. After serving as missionaries in Santiago, Chile, they returned home to Mississippi with a burden to church-plant here in the Hattiesburg area. Justin and Krista are alumni of the University of Southern Mississippi. They have been married since 2006, and have three children: Camden, Dara Shay, and Grayson.
Tyler & Breanna Hand
Tyler and Breanna are gifted musicians, vocalists, and passionate about building teams in City Assembly. Tyler has served in ministry for several years as worship leader, and now continues to do so as Associate Pastor with Breanna at his side. They were married in 2019, and have been a foundational part of our church. In 2025, we were thrilled to welcome Oliver to the team!
Ryan and Katie Clarke
Ryan and Katie play an important role in developing the family ministry of City Assembly. Ryan serves as our NextGen Pastor and Katie leads our women’s ministry. Together, they and their two sons Levi and Bo, are discipling people across multiple generations at our Church and in our city.
